You generally don’t mistreat a pet you’ve paid big bucks for… aye there’s the rub…and in australia you must have them desexed – so there are never unwanted babies…anyway there are no burmese bred in portugal so it’s still pretty safe to come back as one…

@Emma, never underestimate the ability of Portuguese not to look after pets. In the village of my friends we saw a stray siamese: I mean it LOOKED homeless, and later we saw various cats in the village with slanted eyes.

Não são siamese são burmés. O “chocolate” parece-se um pouco como uma siames (pq o cor e só no rosto e pés) mas os outros cores têm um cor para tudo o corpo…and the cats don’t accept the milliary junta of myanmar as the true government of their nameland, burma.

But are Burmese cats the same as gatos siameses?
