1. You are your own boss. Though she may be a bitch & not pay you for hols…
2. The vinho collapso is free.
3. I can pick oranges from my patio
4. Unlikely that the cats will get run over on the street
5. There’s never a queue in the post office when you go in
6. The Dr. sends you for a cholestrol test & it comes back ok, even after all those bolos.
7. A little money goes a long way.
8. You can take 2 hours over pancakes on a school day
9. I get to hang out with my best mate every day
10. The car tax costs less than a night out down the pub

My signs are: being able to drop my stepdaughter off at school in the morning AND pick her up…..I could never do that with my own daughters due to work.
Also being able to walk my dog along the beach each morning is pretty special…..stopping along the way to gaze at the surf reminds me of how work sucks.

Since I am also starting a blog of my own, and buying a house in Portugal. ( the plan is to move there very soon. )
10 signs of a good life is exactly the reasons for the move. I presently live in Canada, and I have a very low score of 1 out of ten on your list, (#7) but the rest are all highly possible when I move.
