Interesting place, Café Santa Cruz.
Had a tea there last autumn but did'nt know Of it's history.

By the way did You know that the word for the herbal infusion we drink - chai, called 'tea' inthe rest of europe, probably originates from Portugal? It refers to a medieval port. Company: Transportes Europa - Asia = TEA! Lol.

@Emma,
I guess i didn't explain correctly. I'm refering to restaurants who say they are, for example, spanish but they're not. Their menu is at least 90% portuguese, not a real spanish restaurant (and there are some good ones around portugal).
Don't know if it was the case with that one, but it reminded me of those cases.

Why travel? The food is the same everywhere else! (Or, 'the food is just as good in spain'...) Don't get me wrong, it was a great meal and very friendly... just like a real portuguese place!

@Emma,

Thought so hehehe.I know some restaurants like that. They do it on purpose so that portuguese clients in search for "something different" go there.
